Treatment

Find the right level of care, and a way to pay for it.

Treatment comes in levels, from medically supervised detox to residential programs to counseling you attend while living at home. Start with the level that fits your situation, then check cost and insurance on the listing. This site is not medical advice. A counselor or doctor can help you choose.

Good to know

  • Stopping alcohol or benzodiazepines suddenly can be dangerous. Ask for medically supervised detox and do not go through it alone.
  • Medication for opioid use (like buprenorphine, methadone or naltrexone) is an evidence-based form of treatment.
  • Uninsured? Ask each program about Medicaid enrollment help or sliding scale fees.
